Substance Abuse Outpatient Services for Adolescents
Peavy Switch Adolescent Center serves adolescents
between the ages of 13 and 17 and our Counselors have been trained
in Adolescent Development and working with adolescents with a dual
diagnosis. CHOICES has experience collaborating with probation,
parole and judges. Chemical dependency education and
counseling is provided in evenings during school hours. The
summer schedule is during day time hours.
Treatment is provided in the least restrictive setting based
on the individual need of every client. All components of the
program have an underlying message and reflect the developmental
stages of each client.
Our goal is to ensure this program is alive, energetic, and
flexible. Adolescents are willing to make changes if they believe
they can still have fun, and still have friends.
Outpatient services are provided for both male and female
adolescents. Teens can seek help without leaving home or disrupting
school schedules. This type of treatment provides professional and
effective treatment without the costly expense of inpatient stays. Teens at Choices benefit from innovative treatment
