Susan Rushing

CEO

Susan Rushing has served as the Chief Executive Officer for the Burke Center since 1990. She has worked for Burke Center in various roles since 1980.

Reporting directly to the Board of Trustees, Ms. Rushing is responsible for organizational planning, operations, budgeting, supervision, and monitoring of the Burke Center.

Ms. Rushing holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with major in Psychology and a Masters of Art degree in Clinical Psychology.

In addition, Ms. Rushing serves as representative to the Professional and Technical Advisory Committee of JCAHO, is a member of the Board of Directors of Mental Health Corporations of America, Inc., is the past Chair of the Executive Directors Consortium of the Texas Council of Community MHMR Centers, Inc., and holds membership in numerous other professional and community organizations.
