The Burke Center offers services for individuals with mental retardation and related conditions throughout our 12 county regions. The programs' primary goal is to ensure that the individuals we serve have every opportunity to make choices concerning the services and supports he or she considers essential for meeting his or her personal goals, rather than having to accept a pre-determined, non-individualized set of services.

Admission into Mental Retardation Services

Any individual residing in the Center's 12 county catchment area requesting services must have a screening for Diagnosis of Mental Retardation (DMR) to determine eligibility for services.  Read our Fact Sheet.
